CHARITY ST ELIZABETHS TONIGHT

Hello Acoustic Clubbers

After welcoming back to the Acoustic Club the irrepressible One After 909 and the Stortford Young Players this time we are delighted to feature 6 wonderful acts for your enjoyment and delight.

riverrats

riverrats will give us a superb set of original stomping, hard hitting songs. Their music is contemporary, unfussy and superb. Their unembellished sound relies on originality and ability, they have lots and lots of both. A tremendous live act.

Cut the Mustard

It is difficult to compartmentalise Dave and Martin as their repertoire is wide ranging and eclectic. However, it matters not, they will always combine to bring an individuality to their music that is always a great see and hear. Dave has a sensational voice as well as providing accompaniment with various percussion instruments and fine blues harp. Martin is a master guitar player who specialises in a finger-picking style and is also a fine vocalist. Together they make a complete sound that both enthrals and invigorates the audience.

Felicity Henry

Felicity is a well-known and highly talented performer who has a wonderful talent for presenting songs that people love to hear. A multi-instrumentalist as well as producer and founder of the Bluebell Studios. This will be Felicity's first appearance at Acoustic Club. We first heard her at Acoustic BASH in August. Her songs are heartfelt and mellow.......we very much look forward to her debut set at the club.

Elliot Porter

A couple of weeks ago Elliot launched his latest musical offering “I choose the Moon” an EP of 6 wonderful tracks of new music. Elliot is one of our long-term players who has constantly performed for us over many years. An accomplished singer songwriter as well as a superb musician playing both guitar and piano to an exceptional level. He completes the performance with exceptional vocals.

Abela Brothers

The Abela Brothers are a duo who have spent many years writing and developing their own music. They are writers of incredible music that has been commissioned for shows, revues and West End spectacular musical evenings. However, a couple of years ago they decided to go back to their roots and came to the Acoustic Club to continue and association that has been ongoing for many years.

Dan Titus

Dan Titus is an original performer. He has a wealth of self-penned songs that are enormously entertaining as well as meaningful and can be a bit of a wakeup call to the audience. Dan is always a player we love to hear and is one of those multi-talented players who are always welcome at the Club.

Doors open at 7.30 pm. Music starts at 8.00 pm and we should finish at around 10.00pm.

Entry to the Belgian Brewer is free!! With a wide range of authentic Belgian Beers as well as a full range of bar food options available, it is a great opportunity for making a full night of it.

We will be conducting a collection during the evening for St Elizabeths at Much Hadham. St Elizabeth's is unique. We enable everyone to thrive, where a complex need is not a barrier to living a full life. Based across 60 acres of beautiful Hertfordshire countryside, St Elizabeth's is a charity supporting children, young people and adults with complex needs, the severity of which impacts upon their health, social, behaviour, learning and emotional development.

Full details of St Elizabeths and the valuable work they do can be found by following this link <<St Elizabeths Centre>>
